Seung-Pil Yang

Seung-Pil Yang has been working in the scientific field since 2005. Seung-Pil began their career as a Postdoctoral Researcher at POSTECH Biotech Center in 2005. In 2006, they moved to Institute of Biomedical Science and Technologies, Konkuk University as a Research Fellow. In 2007, they joined University of Toronto as a Postdoctoral Fellow, where they conducted research on Alzheimer's disease and Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis. In 2013, they joined Treventis Corporation as a Principal Scientist and Head of Biological Sciences, and later became a Senior Research Scientist.

Seung-Pil Yang obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Genetic Engineering from Kyungpook National University between 1990 and 1997. Seung-Pil then went on to obtain a Master of Science (MS) in Life Sciences (Molecular Cell Biology) from Pohang University of Science and Technology between 1997 and 1999. Finally, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Life Sciences (Molecular Cell Biology) from Pohang University of Science and Technology between 1999 and 2005.
