Concept Artist at Treyarch

Kelvin Y.K Tan has a diverse range of experience as a concept artist and tutor. Kelvin Y.K worked at Treyarch as a Concept Artist, where they were involved in environment concept design for Cold War's multiplayer maps and Call of Duty: Cold War launch. Kelvin Y.K also produced prop and concept art for Call of Duty Warzone seasonal content and created mood paintings during a map's pre-production phase. Prior to this, Kelvin was self-employed and worked on the Ecora Project, focusing on concept design for characters, creatures, and environments. Kelvin Y.K collaborated with an Art Director to iterate on designs and tackle challenges of creating cohesive designs for Ecora's diverse locations. Kelvin also worked as a Photoshop & Concept Tutor at Otis College of Art and Design, where they shared their expertise in teaching. Additionally, they have freelance experience as a Concept Artist, where they created concepts and illustrations for undisclosed projects. Kelvin began their career at Singapore-MIT GAMBIT Game Lab as a 2D artist, where they contributed to 2D asset creation and concepting for Phantomation. Kelvin Y.K collaborated with the team to solve technical challenges and communicated with designers, programmers, and QA testers during production.

Kelvin Y.K Tan pursued their education from 2016 to 2020 at Otis College of Art and Design. Kelvin Y.K obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree with a specialization in Digital Media - Concept Design.
