Sue Batterton has extensive experience in the advertising industry. Sue currently serves as the Chief Creative Officer at TRG, a nonprofit organization focused on empowering individuals. Prior to joining TRG, Sue was the Executive Creative Director at BBDO Minneapolis. Sue also held the position of Creative Group Head/Writer at The Richards Group, where they built brands for various clients including Biltmore Estate, MD Anderson Cancer Center, RAM, JEEP, and more. Before joining The Richards Group, Sue worked as an Associate Creative Director at Brunner and as a Senior Copywriter at both archer>malmo and Red Deluxe Brand Development. Sue co-founded the agency Front Door Advertising in 1999 and began their career as a Copywriter at McKinney.
Sue Batterton obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where they studied Journalism, Advertising, and German Literature. Sue attended the university from 1993 to 1997. Following that, from 2002 to 2005, Sue pursued their Master of Fine Arts degree in Fiction and Poetry at The University of Texas at Austin's James A. Michener Center for Writers.
