Gency Gunasingh

Research Laboratory Manager at Translational Research Institute

Gency Gunasingh began their work experience as a student at Frontier Lifeline Pvt. Ltd. in 2009. They later became an intern at the University of Queensland Australian Institute of Bioengineering and Nanotechnology in 2011. In 2012, Gunasingh worked as a research assistant at the University of Queensland, where they were responsible for establishing melanoma tumor sphere cultures and developing high throughput cell-based assays. In 2013, Gunasingh began a PhD program at the University of Queensland Australian Institute of Bioengineering and Nanotechnology, which they completed in 2016. Following their PhD, Gunasingh joined the Translational Research Institute Australia as a research laboratory manager in 2016.

Gency Gunasingh pursued a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Biotechnology from Anna University. This program lasted from 2006 to 2010. After completing their undergraduate studies, they enrolled at The University of Queensland in 2011 and obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Biotechnology in 2012.
