Jean Turpen

Jean Turpen has extensive work experience in the banking industry. Jean began their career in 2004 as a Branch Manager/Loan Officer at Pacific State Bank, where they originated new deposit and lending relationships and underwrote loans for various business enterprises. Jean also oversaw the day-to-day operations of the branch. In 2010, they joined Rabobank N.A. and held multiple roles, including Financial Analyst/Relationship Analyst, AVP Financial Analyst II/Quality Control, and Credit Quest Administrator. In these roles, they underwrote and structured loans for middle market and commercial real estate clients, reviewed financial spreads, and managed loan portfolios. From 2016 to 2021, they worked at Merchants Bank of Commerce as a VP Senior Commercial Underwriter, where they underwrote complex commercial real estate and C&I loans, provided guidance on regulatory compliance and credit structure, and managed loan portfolios. Currently, they are working at Tri Counties Bank as a VP Senior Portfolio Manager, responsible for managing and growing SME, middle market, and CRE credit relationships. Jean provides technical expertise to credit administration, mentors junior relationship managers, and prepares annual reviews and renewals.

Jean Turpen attended the ABA National Commercial Lending School at Southern Methodist University. After that, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics from the University of Alaska Anchorage.
