Tri-County Health Department (TCHD) is the largest local health department in Colorado, proudly serving 25% of the state’s population. It is their mission to protect, promote and improve the health, environment, and quality of life for the 1.3 million residents of Adams, Arapahoe, and Douglas Counties.

The Health and Emergency Management Team at Tri-County Health Department is responsible for preparing for and responding to public health emergencies. This includes overseeing communicable disease surveillance, particularly in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic, and fostering community partnerships to ensure effective and comprehensive health responses. The team aims to protect and enhance the health and safety of residents in Adams, Arapahoe, and Douglas Counties.
