Christy Cox is the current Vice President of Human Resources at Tri Star Energy. Christy has over 20 years of experience in the Human Resources field, with a focus on recruiting and staffing. Christy started their career in 1996 as the Director of Recruiting at Logan's Roadhouse. Christy was responsible for leading a team of four Regional Staffing Managers, working with a third party to create and implement the company's first competency model and management assessment, and enhancing the recruiting process. In 2007, they were promoted to Sr. Director of Human Resources. In this role, Christy was responsible for all aspects of human resources, including but not limited to: benefits, employee relations, training and development, and compensation. Christy successfully decreased time to hire by identifying skills and competencies and coaching hiring managers on candidate selection, competitive and equitable offers, and geographical targets. Christy also researched and launched the company's first applicant tracking system (CAH), creating efficiencies for recruiters and increased applicant flow by allowing candidates to apply online. In addition, they established third-party contacts and negotiated competitive rates with all vendors. Finally, Christy created and enhanced on-boarding processes for new hires, immersing them into the culture and resulting in a reduction in turnover in the first 90 days for hourly team members and MIT turnover less than 5%.
