Ricklan Hillis

Vice President Of Transmission Systems Support at Tri-State Generation & Transmission Association, Inc.

Ricklan Hillis has a strong background in the power transmission industry. Ricklan began their career in 1986 at Western Area Power Administration, where they served as a Senior Communications Field Engineer and later became the Manager of Protection and Communications Maintenance. In 1996, Hillis moved to Salt River Project, where they held various engineering and management roles, including Manager of Protection Engineering. From 2007 to 2015, they worked at Western Area Power Administration again, this time as the Vice President for Transmission System Asset Management. Currently, Hillis is the Vice President of Transmission Systems Support at Tri-State Generation and Transmission Association, Inc. In this role, they oversee the technical support and asset management function for transmission maintenance.

Ricklan Hillis attended Phoenix College from 1981 to 1983, where they obtained an associate's degree in Engineering. Following this, from 1983 to 1986, they pursued a Bachelor's of Science degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering at Arizona State University.
