Dr. Subhankar Samal

Dr. Subhankar Samal is a highly experienced medical professional with a diverse background. Dr. Subhankar began their career as a Resident Physician at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine, where they completed a dual residency training in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. Dr. Subhankar also served as Chief Resident during this time, gaining proficiency in various electronic medical record systems.

After completing their residency, Dr. Samal worked as an Assistant Professor of Medicine/Academic Hospitalist at UF Health from July 2013 to June 2019. During this period, they contributed to the field of medicine through teaching and clinical practice.

Following that, Dr. Samal joined Ascension in July 2019 as an Internal Medicine Physician Hospitalist. Dr. Subhankar served in this role until December 2022, providing comprehensive medical care to patients in a hospital setting.

In January 2023, Dr. Samal took on the role of Locum Tenens at Cugly Inc, where they provided temporary coverage as a physician until October 2023.

Currently, Dr. Samal is the Chief Medical Officer at Triad Adult & Pediatric Medicine, Inc., a position they assumed in November 2023. In this role, they are responsible for overseeing the medical team and providing strategic direction.

Dr. Subhankar Samal, MD, MBA, FACP obtained their Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from Delhi University between the years 2002 and 2008. Dr. Subhankar later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management from 2020 to 2022. In addition to their formal education, Dr. Samal has obtained several certifications, including the FACP (Fellow of American College of Physicians) from the American College of Physicians in 2021.
