Alex Lassiter is an accomplished entrepreneur and business leader, currently serving as the Founder and CEO of GreenPlaces since April 2021, aiming to simplify sustainability for businesses. As a Founding Investor at Triangle Tweener Fund since January 2022, Lassiter also brings deep expertise in the crisis management sector, having acted as a Special Liaison for the North Carolina COVID-19 Task Force, where responsibilities included sourcing PPE for healthcare workers. Previously, Lassiter co-founded Gather Technologies, a leading hospitality SaaS platform, and played a pivotal role in its growth to an enterprise value of $200 million. Early career experiences included positions at Bain & Company, where extensive work was done in private equity and corporate strategy, along with project management at InternMatch, contributing to the company’s recognition as a top tech start-up. Alex Lassiter holds a BSBA Honors with Distinction in Consulting and Emerging Markets from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School.
