Greta Hickey

Greta Hickey is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in governance and compliance across various sports organizations and the medical device industry. Currently serving as a board member and Governance and Ethics Committee member for Cycling Ireland since May 2025, and as a board member and Chair of the Governance Committee for Triathlon Ireland since June 2021, Greta has also held a board membership at Athletics Ireland from June 2021 to May 2025. Prior to these roles, Greta worked as a Consultant for GH Consulting from May 2017 to September 2024, focusing on customer relationship development and compliance across the EMEA region. Greta's background includes significant experience as an Export Director at Covidien (Medtronic Minimally Invasive Therapies Group) from June 2000 to April 2017, where responsibilities involved managing customer accounts and ensuring compliance with international trade laws. Academically, Greta holds an ESG for Directors certification and a Diploma in Corporate Governance from The Corporate Governance Institute, along with a BA (Hons) in Modern Languages from Trinity College Dublin.
