Minija Soma

Minija Soma started their work experience as a Freelance Graphic Designer in 2012, where they designed and developed print and web marketing materials for local non-profits and school clubs. Minija was responsible for the layout and formatting of designs, incorporating typography, photographs, illustrations, charts, maps, and other visual elements.

In 2022, Minija joined TribalScale as a Junior Product Designer. Minija started their role in November 2022 and is currently serving.

Minija also worked as an Ambassador at adplist.org starting from May 2022, and their role is ongoing.

Minija's most recent position was as a Teaching Assistant at BrainStation for their UX Design Diploma Program. Minija conducted remote lectures on UX concepts and material, provided design feedback throughout the design process, and mentored students in developing their design strategy. Minija'srole at BrainStation lasted from March 2022 to June 2022.

Minija Soma has a Diploma in UX Design from BrainStation. Minija also holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree with a focus on Psychology, Health Humanities, and Cultural Anthropology from the University of Toronto. In addition to their formal education, Minija has obtained certifications in Enterprise Design Thinking from IBM in February 2022 and in Mental Health First Aid from the Mental Health Commission of Canada in August 2021.
