Eadaoin Dempsey

Eadaoin Dempsey has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Beginning in 2005, they worked as a Junior Designer at O Muineachain Architects, where they provided administrative support and was involved in property surveys and concept development. In 2010, they became a Junior Designer at The WoodLab, focusing on furniture concept and design, branding identity, and website design. Eadaoin also developed an online furniture app.

In 2012, they worked as an Interactive Designer at Technological University Dublin, where they created an interactive tutorial using Adobe Flash, Photoshop, and Illustrator. Eadaoin then became a Project Manager and Environment Artist for the university, leading the development of a video game called "Pontification" and gaining recognition on Steam and IndieDB.

In 2013, Eadaoin joined Vendorlink.ca as a Product Designer, responsible for creating a secure environment for patients through credentialing methods. Eadaoin also designed the brand identity package and improved user registration and experience.

Eadaoin later joined Norm Li in 2013 as a Senior Interactive Visual Artist and successfully grew the department, implementing UX/UI principles in designing custom virtual reality spaces for clients. This increased revenue by 20% per rendering.

From 2018 to 2019, Eadaoin worked at Sowingo as a Product Designer (UX/UI), redesigning their web-based application for dental inventory management.

In 2019, they joined RewardOps as a Lead Product Designer, where they contributed to product design and development. Eadaoin later became an Associate Director of Design at TribalScale in 2022.

Throughout their work experience, Eadaoin demonstrated their skills in design, project management, user experience, and brand identity.

In 2018, Eadaoin Dempsey attended BrainStation and completed a course in User Experience/User Interface Design.

From 2011 to 2013, they pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Creative Digital Media at Technological University Dublin.

Between 2005 and 2009, Eadaoin Dempsey studied Interior and Furniture Design at Technological University Dublin, earning a BA(Hons) First Class Honours degree.

In 2003 and 2004, they completed a Diploma in Art Portfolio Preparation at Killester College of Further Education.

In addition to their formal education, Eadaoin Dempsey has obtained several certifications. In 2023, they received certifications in "Design for the 21st Century with Don Norman," "Complex UI Design: Practical Techniques," and "The Power of Storytelling in UX" from The Interaction Design Foundation. Eadaoin also holds a membership certificate from The Interaction Design Foundation, obtained in February 2023. Furthermore, in 2018, they obtained a certification in User Experience Design from BrainStation.
