Compliance Analyst

Designation: Compliance Analyst

Know Your Customer & Third-Party Due Diligence
• Conduct Enhanced Due Diligence for new and existing clients by requesting the KYC / DDQ information from supplier, customers and third parties.
• Assist in gathering information by researching about the customers / suppliers / third parties from various sources including credit reports, Bloomberg, Reuters, stock exchanges, google, whenever required.
• Perform name screening on a third-party screening software, if any flags to review and determine them for appropriate closure.
• Maintain high quality standards of accuracy of the data being screened in Amber Road.
• Escalate to Compliance team for any red flags, negative news on timely basis.

Vessel, Barge
• Review vessel, barge related information received from Ops by conducting due diligence from Equasis, Q88 and other sources to ensure the vessel is compliant prior to adding in JDE.
• Obtain approval for vessel, barge from Compliance if it is over 30 years old.

Ad-hoc Tasks
• Assist in maintaining and updating records as needed.
• Assist in other compliance related projects as needed.

Experience and Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in related field

• Freshers with any Bachelors degree or 0 - 2 years professional experience in Anti-Money Laundering / KYC Compliance
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
• Strong creative problem solving and analytical thinking skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Basic knowledge on SharePoint
• Flexible in working with shifts including night shift if required
