Our greatest asset has been, and will always be, our people! We are looking for a motivated individual(s) to fill the full-time position of Logistics Coordinator in our office in Rotterdam.

Responsibilities  

  • Work closely with Sales and Operations team to manage inventory levels as needed

  • Coordinating transportation providers to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipments

  • Work closely with hauliers and service providers to ensure competitive pricing and maintain high service levels

  • Tracking all movements and responding to customer inquires

  • Respond to customer inquiries and referring clients to the proper channels

  • Review sales orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy

  • Making special shipping arrangements as necessary

  • Tracking and fixing shipping errors

  • Preparing bills and invoices

  • Ensuring that the quality of all services provided meets the required standards

  • Developing processes that make the supply chain more efficient and organized

  • Maintain up to date data in Tricon systems to ensure there is a real time record of all sales and shipments

  • Work closely with other Tricon departments to ensure all customers are KYC’d and credit check prior to shipment

Qualifications/Skills candidate should possess:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Energy and Trade Finance, Economics, or related business field preferred

  • Highly motivated self-starter with strong attention to detail and ability to operate independently.

  • Superior customer service skills.

  • Ability to switch gears, manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines on a timely basis with a high degree of accuracy.

  • Strong critical thinking, problem identification, analysis, corrective action, and closure

  • Adaptability and drive including the ability to work under time-related pressures

  • Microsoft Office competence, advanced spreadsheet skills using Microsoft Word and Excel

Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and the ability to communicate complex subject matter in a simple, clear concise manner with internal and external clients
