Tricon is seeking a Trade Finance Professional in Mumbai. This position reports to Export LC Senior Manager and assists on Export LC related document preparation/checking activities involved in a Trade Finance transaction.

  

Roles & Responsibilities:

The Executive is responsible for the accurate, error-free, and timely processing of letters of credit and other such trade finance products as required, by application of knowledge of relevant International Chamber of Commerce governing rules,  procedures, and controls, thereby delivering high-level service to clients.

  • Knowledge of all life cycle events of letters of credit (import and export - issue, advise amend, acceptance, discount, payment, checking documents)
  • Minimum of3-5 years of Export LC document checking according to UCP 600 and ISBP 745 for Export Letters of Credit
  • Adhere to governing rules and all relevant controls.
  • Develop and improve effective working relationships with all trade stakeholders including banks.
  • Discrepancy Resolution by working with banks, third parties, and customers.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Outlook, SWIFT.

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Banking Industry most preferred but the experience of working in Commodity Trading / Logistics companies is also acceptable

  • 3-4 years in Trade Finance set up

  • Graduate in any field.  Also, knowledge of CDCS(Certificate of Documentary Credit Specialists) will be added advantage
