Pattijean Hooper, Ph.D., is a seasoned professional in emergency management and communication with extensive experience in leadership and academia. Currently serving as Project Manager for Community Engagement - Disaster Recovery at Constant Associates since April 2024, Pattijean has also been an Adjunct Professor in Homeland Security at Trident University International since July 2016. Previous roles include Emergency Management Advisor and Diversity Equity & Inclusion Program Manager at Tetra Tech, and Emergency Manager for the City of Redmond and City of Kirkland. Pattijean is recognized for active involvement in statewide emergency management initiatives, including membership in the Washington State Emergency Management Council and past presidency of the Washington State Emergency Management Association. With a Ph.D. in Crisis Communication from the University of Washington and a rich history of managing disaster response operations for FEMA, Pattijean has consistently focused on community-based approaches and equitable access to critical services throughout public service and academic endeavors.
