Marco Sammicheli is a prominent figure in the fields of design and academia, currently serving as Superintendent of the Museo del Design Italiano and Chief Officer for International Relations at Triennale Milano since June 2018. Alongside these roles, Marco is a contributing writer for Il Sole 24 Ore and serves as a contributing editor and Milan editor for Wallpaper*. Previous experience includes positions as a freelance columnist for Icon design, a contributing writer for Casa Vogue and L'Uomo Vogue under Condé Nast, and contract professor at Politecnico di Milano, where Marco taught various design subjects. Additional contributions to the design community include serving as design curator for Abitare, director at Edizioni Zero, and visiting lecturer at Shenkar. Marco holds a Ph.D. in Design and Technologies for Cultural Heritage from Politecnico di Milano and a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Science from Università di Siena.
