Douglas Russell has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Douglas began their career in 2004 at General Dynamics: Bath Iron Works, where they worked in procurement, supporting acquisitions of engineered equipment for the U.S. Navy Destroyers. From there, they joined F.W. Webb as a Continuous Improvement Process Coordinator.

In 2007, Douglas joined CAPINC as an Inside Sales Account Representative, responsible for lead generation, scheduling sales meetings, and maintaining the CRM database. Douglas later became an Account Manager, educating clients on design technology trends and implementing tools to improve innovation rates.

In 2017, they moved to TriMech, where they served as both a Territory Account Manager and a Territory Account Manager - Digital Sales. In these roles, Douglas worked with manufacturing companies, educating them on emerging technology and helping them implement change to streamline processes and improve collaboration.

Most recently, Douglas worked at Protolabs as an Account Manager, providing custom prototypes and low-volume production parts with a quick turnaround. Their responsibilities included providing quotes and delivering completed parts within short timeframes.

Throughout their career, Douglas has developed skills in account management, sales, lead generation, and client education.

Douglas Russell attended Maine Maritime Academy from 2001 to 2005, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in International Business & Logistics.
