Laura Weismantel Helms

Laura Weismantel Helms has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Laura started as an intern at Pratt & Whitney in 2007, where they assisted engineers in data collection and analysis, as well as conducted inspections and organized reports of turbine wear. Laura then worked as a 3D Draftsperson at Permasteelisa North America Corp. in 2010 and as a Tool Design Engineer at Pratt & Whitney in 2011. In 2012, they joined Play-Well TEKnologies as an Enrichment Instructor before moving on to CAPINC | A TriMech Company, where they held positions as a SolidWorks Application Engineer and Senior SolidWorks Application Engineer from 2012 to 2016. Most recently, Laura worked at TriMech as an Elite SolidWorks Application Engineer from 2017 to 2019 and currently holds the position of Client Executive starting in March 2019.

Laura Weismantel Helms received a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Connecticut from 2005 to 2010. Additionally, they obtained certifications as a Certified SOLIDWORKS Expert from SOLIDWORKS in May 2015 and as a Certified SOLIDWORKS Presentation Professional from SOLIDWORKS in May 2013.
