Matthias Steeg

Matthias Steeg is an experienced optoelectronics engineer currently serving in advance development at trinamiX GmbH since June 2022. Previously, Matthias held various positions at Muegge GmbH, including Manager of Power Electronics, overseeing development teams in high-voltage power supplies and microwave systems, and as Microwave Applications and RF Electronics Engineer focusing on microwave component design and circuit development. Matthias has a robust academic background with a PhD in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology from the University of Duisburg-Essen, where research involved fiber-wireless transmission systems and 5G technology. Additionally, early career roles included teaching mathematics and physics, internships in equipment design, and project-based work in customer service and electrical engineering at various organizations.
