Carmen del Pilar Márquez

Carmen del Pilar Márquez has a diverse work experience in the field of environment, health, and safety. Carmen del Pilar is currently working at Trinchero Family Estates as the Environment, Health and Safety Manager since February 2022. Prior to that, they held the role of H&S Technical Program Manager at the same company from August 2020 to February 2022. Carmen also worked as a Sr. Health & Safety Coordinator at Trinchero Family Estates from October 2018 to August 2020.

Before joining Trinchero Family Estates, Carmen worked at AbbVie, starting as an EHS Specialist from February 2018 to October 2018. Carmen del Pilar then held the position of Chemical Safety- EHS Staff Specialist from January 2015 to February 2018, where they supported technical program managers by collecting and analyzing key performance indicators, identifying risk reduction opportunities, and communicating with senior management and relevant stakeholders. Carmen also worked as an EHS Engineer from November 2013 to December 2014, and as an EHS Specialist from January 2013 to November 2013, both roles being part of the AbbVie Operations Development Program.

Their work experience at Abbott includes the role of EHS Specialist from July 2012 to January 2013, where they provided support at Secondary Manufacturing and Packaging facility, focusing on safe programs of work, safety procedures, and safe behavior programs.

Carmen had an early experience at Abbott as an Engineering Intern in 2011.

Carmen del Pilar Márquez began their education at Colegio Ponceño, where they pursued a high school education with a focus on general studies from 2002 to 2006. Following their graduation from high school, Carmen enrolled at the University of Puerto Rico-Mayagüez in 2006 and completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering in 2011.

Continuing their educational journey, Carmen recently joined the Universidad Politécnica de Puerto Rico in 2020 to pursue a Master's degree in Engineering Management. Their expected completion date for this program is 2023.
