Matthew Lapides has a diverse work experience in the wine industry. Matthew began their career at Chateau St Jean as a Wine Educator from 2006 to 2009. Following that, they joined JAQK Cellars as an Operations Manager, where they oversaw production, distribution, and day-to-day operations of a luxury wine brand. Matthew also developed and implemented the brand's first wine club and managed distributor orders and customer support.

In 2011, Lapides joined Young's Market Company as an Account Manager in their Estates Group until 2016. During their tenure, they managed total imported wine volume and successfully grew the import brands. Matthew then took on the role of Import Specialist, where they continued to manage import wine volume, achieving excellent quota attainment.

Since 2017, Lapides has been working at Republic National Distributing Company as a Key Account Import Specialist, further enhancing their expertise in import management. Currently, they are the Heritage Field Sales Specialist at Trinchero Family Estates, where they utilize their skills and knowledge to drive sales in the field. Matthew Lapides earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Finance & Wine Business Operations from Sonoma State University in 2009.
