Lawra Gourgue

Lawra Gourgue, M.S., is an experienced professional in the field of video and digital media, currently serving as the Director of Photography at Roundabout Theatre Company since January 2023 and as a Mentor at Black Girls In Media since December 2023. With a background as a Video and Digital Media Engineer and Audio Visual Technician at Trinity Church Wall Street since August 2019, Lawra excels in organizing live streaming setups and directing camera operations for services and concerts. Previous roles include Technical Director at Peloton Interactive, where Lawra managed camera movements and audio for live fitness classes, and Second Assistant Director at To The Fireflies Film LLC, with responsibilities in production flow and social media management. Lawra holds a Master of Science in Arts, Entertainment, and Media Management from The New School and a Bachelor of Arts in Film/Cinema/Video Studies from Pace University.
