Ira Dawson

Ira Dawson has a comprehensive work experience in the field of education. They began their career as an Educator at Garinger High School, where they created an engaging classroom environment for a diverse group of students. They then moved to The Walker School, where they held various roles, including Assistant Director of Admissions and Director of Diversity, Dean of Students, and Head of Middle School. At Atlanta Youth Academy, they served as the Dean of the Academy, overseeing the school's policies and programs. They also worked as an Academic Facilitator at Harding University High School, assisting teachers in utilizing data for effective learning experiences. Currently, Ira Dawson holds the position of Upper Elementary Division Head at Trinity School. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated a commitment to promoting educational development and fostering student achievement.

Ira Dawson has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Hampton University, which was completed in 2003. Afterwards, Ira pursued a Master of Education degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Georgia State University, which was completed in 2007. Later, Ira went on to obtain a second Master of Education degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, General from Kennesaw State University, which was completed in 2015.
