Louis Oostvogels

Louis Oostvogels is a seasoned professional in the plastics manufacturing industry, currently serving as the Global Business Manufacturing Director for Plastics & Feedstocks at Trinseo since January 2020. In this role, Louis oversees all global manufacturing locations for Trinseo's Plastics & Feedstocks segment, which includes a diverse portfolio of materials such as Polystyrene, ABS, Polycarbonate, Compounds & Blends, and Styrene Monomer. Louis has held various key positions at Trinseo, including Global Manufacturing Leader for Plastics and Manufacturing Director for Polymers & Compounds. Prior to joining Trinseo, Louis spent over 24 years at The Dow Chemical Company, where responsibilities spanned from senior production leadership to global technology and improvement roles, notably managing production sites and leading major process automation projects. Louis's academic credentials include a bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Avans University of Applied Sciences, completed between 1978 and 1983.
