Scott Phillips has worked in the software engineering and development field since 2011. In 2012, they began working as a Coop at the UC-P&G Simulation Center, where they implemented knowledge models and developed a visualization tool for chemical reaction simulation data. In 2013, they continued working at the UC-P&G Simulation Center, where they developed software and a large knowledge model implementation. In 2014, they worked as an Intern at Procter & Gamble, where they developed infrastructure for power and controls systems and automated test method validation procedures. Scott also led the development of a process knowledge model implementation with outside contractors and created a capability to automate certain debugging routines in Visual Studio. In 2015, they worked as a Product Supply Coop at Procter & Gamble, where they led the development of digital innovation strategies and engaged contract resources in delivering against engineering software objectives. In 2016, they worked as a Digital Innovation Engineer at Procter & Gamble, where they led the development and integration of a complex process tolerance analysis model with contractor support. In 2019, they worked as a Full Stack Developer at Earnin, where they developed backend services and infrastructure to support a next generation product platform and migrated services from legacy systems to modern CI/CD pipelines. Finally, in 2021, they began working as a Software Engineer at Trinsic, where they are leading the development of language bindings for v2 services, developing backend services, and mentoring other developers while supporting customers.

Scott Phillips attended the University of Cincinnati from 2011 to 2016, where they received a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. Scott then attended the University of Cincinnati - College of Engineering and Applied Science from 2017 to 2019, where they received a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering. In August 2020, they obtained a Triplebyte Certified Generalist Software Engineer certification from Triplebyte.
