Burak Taha Topo

Burak Taha Topo is an accomplished data analyst and machine learning engineer, currently working at Trio Electric since May 2022, where significant contributions include optimizing SQL code for a reporting system managing over $110M and developing Power BI and Excel visual reports. As a machine learning engineer intern at General Dynamics Mission Systems, Burak designed a secure NLP system and integrated advanced model components using Python. Burak served as team lead and lead software engineer for Hokienauts, achieving finalist status in NASA’s SUITS Challenge by creating an AR interface for space suits and managing full-stack development. Additionally, as an electronics and GUI engineer with The Diggeridoos, Burak contributed to the team's success in an international competition through innovative GUI designs. Burak holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Virginia Tech, expected in May 2024.
