Thomas Gehrke

Thomas Gehrke has over 27 years of experience in the technology industry. Thomas began their career as a Director of IT at Daley-Hodkin, where they played a key role in developing advanced data systems for inventory and machinery analysis. In 2006, they joined Ovation Travel Group as Chief Information Officer, overseeing technology staff, vendor relationships, and a $5M annual technology budget. Thomas successfully transformed the company's outdated technology infrastructure and implemented client-facing systems. In 2018, Thomas became the Director of Technology at Job for Nevada's Graduates, where they designed a proprietary Business Intelligence platform using Tableau, Power BI, and Microsoft Teams. Currently, they serve as the Director of Data Services at TRIPBAM, Inc., focusing on developing and optimizing Business Intelligence solutions on the Power BI platform.

Thomas Gehrke completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Data Management/Data Analytics from Western Governors University from 2020 to 2021. Prior to that, they pursued Applied Music at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and Applied Music, Computer Science, and English Composition at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, although the specific degree obtained is unknown.

In addition to their formal education, Thomas has obtained several certifications. Thomas earned the CompTIA A+ certification from CompTIA in July 2021. In October 2020, they obtained the Tableau Desktop Specialist certification from Tableau Software. In 2018, they achieved the PSM 1 Professional Scrum Master and PSPO 1 Professional Scrum Product Owner certifications from Scrum.org. Furthermore, Thomas is a VFR Certified Private Pilot, certified by the Federal Aviation Administration in May 2012.
