Key Responsibilities

The Relationship Services team is the Portfolio team within Triple Point’s Private Credit. This role will cover relationships in Triple Point’s Specialty Finance Portfolio (Wholesale Lending). The team provides asset-based loans to a portfolio of non-bank specialist lenders. The role will be varied, but you will be expected to;

  • Manage and lead the relationship for a portfolio of c8-10 existing clients. 
  • Structure and lead the end-to-end delivery of new money transactions within the portfolio, and proactively monitor them.  
  • Structure and lead the end-to-end documentation for all modifications. 
  • Arrange and lead one call/ meeting per month with each customer, following receipt of monthly borrowing base and MI and on an ad-hoc basis 
  • Lead the Annual Reviews full end-to-end process (from initiating the conversations with the customer through to approval).  
  • Arrange and lead calls and meetings with management teams of borrowers and  / or new transactions for existing borrowers within portfolio.  
  • Lead presentations to Credit Committees for all matters relating to borrowers within your portfolio. 
  • Analysis of borrowing base information with the aim of identifying and communicating and challenging early warning signs.
  • Ensuring internal portfolio monitoring / reporting is kept up to date in a timely manner.

Knowledge and Experience

  • 3 years prior experience in Specialty Finance or similar such as asset-based lending or ABS is preferable.
  • Ability to analyse a portfolio of loans and the associated contractual cashflows.
  • Understanding of the UK non-bank lending market
  • Ability to read and analyse company financial accounts and management information.
  • Experience in Writing / Reading credit applications, either from a previous role in Credit or a front office role
  • Experience in financial modelling
