Ares Torres

Ares Torres is a Research Associate III at Triplebar since March 2024, following experience as a Research Associate at Agenus, where Ares specialized in bench-scale fermentation with CHO cells for monoclonal antibody production. Previous roles include Process Engineer at Demetrix, focusing on fermentation operations and data analysis, and Vice President of Research Projects at BioInnovation Group at UC Davis, where Ares managed multiple undergraduate research initiatives in biotechnology. Ares also served as Project Lead for a microfluidics project, directing a team on producing a droplet-microfluidics device for single-cell RNA sequencing. Ares began involvement in research as an Undergraduate Researcher in the iGEM Competition after earning a degree from the University of California, Davis in 2020.
