Engineer II at Triplebar

Peter Kim has a diverse work experience in the field of research and engineering. Peter most recently worked at Triplebar as an Engineer II. Prior to that, they worked at Sandia National Laboratories as a Project Scientist, where they optimized a high-throughput electroporation method and automated workflows using liquid handling robots. Peter also developed a high-throughput assay to analyze insoluble peptide production. Before that, Peter was a Postdoctoral Researcher at Sandia National Laboratories, where they focused on developing fabricated soil ecosystems and microfluidic devices for studying plant and microbiome ecosystems. Peter also integrated various analytical techniques to analyze soil microbiome stability and diversity. Peter's earlier roles include being a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Joint BioEnergy Institute, a Postdoctoral Researcher and Graduate Student Research Assistant at UC Davis, a Graduate Student Teaching Assistant at UC Davis, a Research Assistant at diaDexus, and a Research Assistant at UC Berkeley.

Peter Kim completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley, from 2002 to 2006. Following that, they pursued further education and received their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Physical Chemistry from the University of California, Davis, from 2007 to 2013.
