Geospatial Developer at triply

Lucas van der Meer has a diverse work experience. Currently, they are a researcher at Paris Lodron Universität Salzburg, where they are working on their PhD research project, investigating the relationship between the happiness experienced during a trip and the accessibility of the destination. Previously, they worked as a developer at triply.

Before that, they worked at Rijksuniversiteit Groningen, first as a Junior GIS Specialist, where they investigated the supply shortage patterns of public bikes in the Netherlands and provided support for spatial data analysis. Lucas also worked as a student assistant in statistics and spatial information science during their time at Rijksuniversiteit Groningen.

Lucas van der Meer obtained their Bachelor's degree in Technische Planologie from the University of Groningen, where they studied from 2013 to 2016. Lucas then pursued further education and completed a Master's degree in Geospatial Technologies from NOVA IMS Information Management School from 2017 to 2018. Finally, they continued their academic journey at the University of Münster and obtained another Master's degree in Geospatial Technologies from 2018 to 2019.
