James Fung

James Fung has extensive work experience in various industries, including agriculture and logistics. James is currently employed as the Chief Operating Officer at TriRinse, Inc. since 2023. Prior to this, they worked at the Indiana Crop Improvement Association as the Chief Executive Officer from 2019 to 2023, where they were responsible for developing and executing a long-range business growth strategy resulting in a significant increase in annual revenue. Before that, James served as the Seed Box Business Unit Director at Tri Rinse, Inc. from 2015 to 2019, where they established the seed box fleet management service sector and grew the business ten-fold. James also held several roles at Dow AgroSciences, including N. America Seeds Supply Chain Planning and Improvements Leader, N. America Corn Seeds Supply Chain Planner, US Seeds Demand Manager, and Six Sigma Productivity and Strategy Acceleration, Black Belt. James started their career as an Engineer at Dow Chemical in 1994, where they resolved plant issues, optimized production, and led improvement projects.

James Fung obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Chemical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, where they studied from 1990 to 1994. Following this, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management with a focus on Entrepreneurship at the University of Houston from 1995 to 1999.

In addition to their formal education, James Fung has obtained several certifications. In June 2019, they completed the "Creating a Culture of Service" and "Quality Management Foundations" certifications from LinkedIn. James also holds a certification as a Six Sigma Black Belt Project Leader, which they obtained in February 2008.
