Triton College
Kevin Flaherty is an experienced professional with a diverse background in education and emergency services. Currently serving as an Adjunct Faculty Instructor at Triton College since August 2021, Kevin has held various leadership roles at the Elmwood Park Fire Department since October 1995, including Deputy Fire Chief, Captain, Lieutenant, and Firefighter. Responsibilities included overseeing 24-hour operations, coordinating EMS activities, and supervising company-level operations. Prior to the fire department, Kevin worked at IRI from September 1989 to January 1996, holding managerial and supervisory positions in Production Control. Kevin earned a Master of Business Administration in Public Administration from Columbia Southern University and a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Human Resource Management from Northern Illinois University.
