Shawn Holyoak

Shawn Holyoak has worked in the software engineering and GIS fields since 2008. Shawn started as a Manager III, GIS for the City of Dallas, where they managed a group of 3 GIS Developers, 5 technicians, and 1 Data Analyst. Shawn was also responsible for administering several ArcGIS Server/SDE instances. In 2019, Shawn moved to Atmos Energy as a Senior Applications Developer, where they developed a Python interface between ArcGIS Workforce and Survey123 for an Advanced Leak Detection project. Shawn also wrote Python code to automate business processes and administer ArcGIS Enterprise, as well as administer multiple ArcGIS Portal instances. Currently, Shawn is a Senior Software Engineer at Trivie.

Shawn Holyoak has a strong educational background. Shawn completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Spanish from the University of Michigan in 1997, and then went on to complete a Master of Urban Planning degree from the same university in 2000. Shawn has also obtained several certifications from LinkedIn, including Advanced Web Development with Django (2020), Learning Python Generators (2018), JavaScript: Closures (2018), Learning Webpack 3 (2018), and Vue.js: Building an Interface (2018).
