Robert MacHinist

Robert Machinist is an experienced professional with a diverse work history. Robert has served as the CEO of Troika/Mission Group since 2017. Prior to that, they were the Chairman and Founder of Collector's Car Garage since 2005. Robert also held the position of Vice Chairman of the Board at Maimonides Medical Center since 2004 and Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors at Pyrolyx A.G. from 2014 to 2018. Machinist was Chairman of the American Committee for the Weizmann Institute of Science and a Member of the Board of Governors from 2000 to 2018. Robert was also Chairman and Founding Board Member of CIFC Corp. from 2004 to 2017 and a Member of the Board of Directors at United Pacific Industries from 2006 to 2015. In addition, they served as a Trustee and Vice Chairman of the Board at Vassar College from 1994 to 2005. Earlier in their career, Machinist held the role of Head of Investment Banking at Bank of New York from 1998 to 2002 and was the President and Co-founder of Patricof & Co. Capital Corp. and its successor companies from 1986 to 1998.

Robert Machinist has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy and Chemistry from Vassar College. Robert also undertook graduate work in Biochemistry at the Weizmann Institute of Science.
