Michael Sithole

Michael Sithole has had an extensive career in metallurgy, spanning over 18 years. Michael most recently worked as the Process Engineering Lead at Tronox since August 2022. Prior to that, they were a Senior Metallurgist at Manuka Resources Limited from January 2020 to August 2022. From June 2018 to January 2020, they held the position of Senior Metallurgist at CBH Resources Limited. Before that, they worked as a Metallurgist at Independence Group (IGO) for one month in 2017 and at Independent Metallurgical Operations (IMO) for three months in the same year. Michael began their career at Metallon Corporation, where they held various roles including Assistant Metallurgical Manager, Senior Metallurgist, and Plant Metallurgist. Their tenure at Metallon Corporation lasted for 13 years, from February 2004 to March 2017. Overall, Michael has acquired a wealth of experience and expertise in metallurgy through their diverse roles in multiple companies.

From 1999 to 2003, Michael Sithole attended the University of Zimbabwe, where they earned a BSc (Honours) degree in Engineering with a specialization in Metallurgical Engineering.
