Ricardo Reis

Ricardo Reis began their work experience in 2021 as a Post-doctoral researcher at Wageningen University & Research, where they worked until October 2022. In February 2023, they joined Tropic as a Research Scientist, specializing in coffee.

Ricardo Reis has a strong educational background in the field of genetics and plant breeding. Ricardo obtained their research doctorate from UENF - Universidade Estadual do Norte Fluminense from 2015 to 2019. Prior to that, they completed their master's degree in the same field of study at the same institution from 2013 to 2015. Ricardo also holds a bachelor's degree in biology with a specialization in plant biotechnology, which they earned from UENF - Universidade Estadual do Norte Fluminense from 2009 to 2013. Additionally, they have obtained a certification in Fundamentos de Gestão de Projetos from LinkedIn in September 2020.
