Kimo Buckon

Kimo Buckon has held various roles throughout their career. Kimo is currently the Chief Operating Officer at Tropic Ocean Airways since October 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Revenue Officer at Tactical Air Support, Inc. starting in January 2020. Kimo also held the position of Senior Systems Analyst / Program Manager at the same company since 2012. From 2012 to 2015, they worked as a Client Manager at Check-6, Inc. Moving further back, they served as the Chief of Staff at the Maritime Operations Center in U.S. Fleet Forces Command from June 2010 to July 2012. Kimo was also a Commanding Officer at Strike Fighter Squadron 31 from October 2008 to June 2010. Before that, they worked as an Operations Analyst at The Joint Staff from September 2006 to August 2008. In 2004, they were an Aide to the Chairman at the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Lastly, they worked as a Training Officer at TOPGUN from January 1999 to April 2002.

Kimo Buckon completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Structural Engineering at UC San Diego from 1986 to 1991. Later, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Engineering Management at Old Dominion University from 2010 to 2012.
