Laura Piehl Harrington

Laura Piehl Harrington, CPA, is an experienced accountant currently serving as a Sr. Accountant at Tropic since June 2024. Previously, Laura held the position of Senior Accountant at Instabase from May 2023 to June 2024 and has worked at Checkr, Inc. as a GL Accountant and Revenue Analyst from April 2021 to April 2023. Laura began their career in accounting with internships at Dental Lifeline Network and KPMG US in 2020. Before transitioning to accounting, Laura gained extensive experience in education, serving as a teacher at various public schools from 2012 to 2019, where responsibilities included coordinating training, analyzing student performance data, and supporting the professional development of fellow educators. Laura holds a Master of Science in Accounting from the University of Colorado Denver and a Bachelor's of Science in Elementary Education and History from Florida State University.
