Tim Dipietropolo

Vice President - Operations, Nvoccs & Global Logistics at Tropical Shipping

Tim DiPietropolo started their career in 2000 at Tropical Shipping, where they held various roles including Management Trainee, Country Manager for the Turks & Caicos Islands, and Director of Corporate Pricing, Special Cargo Services, and Customer Service. In 2011, they joined Maersk Line as the Director of US Government Cargo Execution. In 2014, they became the Head of Trade for Central America, the Caribbean, and North America at Sealand - A Maersk Company. Tim returned to Tropical Shipping in 2017 as the Assistant Vice President of NVOCCs, Global Logistics, and LCL Operations before being promoted to the Vice President of Operations, NVOCCs, and Global Logistics in 2020.

Tim DiPietropolo holds a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in National Security and Strategic Studies from the U.S. Naval War College. Tim also obtained a Masters degree in International Management and another Masters degree in Business Administration from the University of Maryland Global Campus. Additionally, they have a Bachelor's degree in Marine Transportation from the United States Merchant Marine Academy.
