R. Joilene Wood

R. Joilene Wood is an experienced attorney specializing in capital markets, corporate finance, and securities law. Currently engaged at TroyGould PC since March 2022, R. Joilene Wood provides counsel to issuers and underwriters for initial public offerings and ongoing SEC compliance for public issuers. Previously, R. Joilene Wood served as General Counsel at Vaquero Capital, overseeing legal, compliance, and operations for a FINRA-registered broker dealer, and held the role of Vice President - Legal at Seven Post Private Investment Office. Earlier experience includes positions at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, contributing to corporate governance and securities law, along with involvement in advancing access to legal services through the State Bar of California. R. Joilene Wood has also actively participated in nonprofit work, notably with Each One Reach One and the California Bar Foundation. Educational qualifications include a Juris Doctor from New York University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in English Honors from The University of Texas at Austin.
