Aslihan Eker Cakmak

Aslihan EKER CAKMAK is a seasoned media professional with extensive experience in production and commissioning within the broadcasting industry. Currently serving as a Senior Commissioning Producer at TRT World since October 2015, Aslihan previously held the position of Commissioning Producer at Al Jazeera Turk from September 2011 to October 2015. A strong background in content creation is evident from roles as a Producer and Script Writer at TRT Arabic and as a director/producer at Sencer Film Production, where a notable weekly TV program on Turkey's foreign relations was directed. Aslihan also contributed to the International News Department as a correspondent at Kanal 7 and has a rich history of documentary production, including co-producing a significant series focused on women's experiences in Muslim countries.
