Leann McGowan

LeAnn McGowan has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. LeAnn'smost recent role was as the VP of Business Intelligence at TruConnect, starting in March 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Interim CIO/ VP of Data Management & Insights at Zovio from May 2018 to February 2022. In this role, LeAnn was responsible for managing an IT department of over 80 members and overseeing various aspects such as customer success management, data platforms, data management, data governance, and software development. LeAnn also had budgetary management responsibilities, handling a $30M departmental budget.

Before Zovio, LeAnn served as the Associate Vice President of Data Management at Bridgepoint Education from May 2018 to May 2021. LeAnn also held multiple roles at Bridgepoint Education, including Director of Business Intelligence, Associate Director of Business Intelligence, Business Intelligence Manager, and SQL Developer/Data Analyst.

Prior to their roles in the education sector, LeAnn worked as an Accounting Manager at Arch Health Partners from February 2013 to September 2013, where they supervised a team of eight and managed month-end close processes. LeAnn also worked as an Accounting Analyst at Scripps Health from February 2012 to August 2012, overseeing accounting work for multiple hospitals.

LeAnn's earlier experience includes roles as a Financial Analyst (SQL Reporting Developer) at Lee Enterprises from January 2009 to October 2011, an Accounting Manager at the City of Jacksonville from May 2006 to October 2008, and a Senior Accountant at Farber Hass Hurley LLP from November 2004 to February 2006. LeAnn also worked as a Senior Accountant at Goodman & Company from June 2002 to July 2004.
