Stefano Scarsella

Stefano Scarsella currently owner of an international tax consultancy firm in Como and Lugano, boasts significant professional experience. After a degree in economics and business in Urbino, obtained two years in advance, in 1988 at just 22 years of age, he won the competition reserved for the best 105 graduates in Italy and became an officer of the Gdf. In the Gdf he deals with training at the financiers’ school in Rovigo.

In Gdf he takes the course of green berets for counter-terrorism and prompt intervention decides to leave the Gdf with the rank of lieutenant and to undertake the profession of chartered accountant by qualifying in 1991 and the teaching of legal and economic disciplines and in particular the subject of International Economics at the University of Rome and Catania campus link until 2016. In the teaching of international economics he follows the school of thought of Paul R. Krugman, Nobel laureate in economics in 2008.

During his profession he has held and still holds numerous positions as auditor of important public companies and important municipalities in Lombardy.

He was also Advisor of important M&A operations in Italy and in particular that concerning the sale of Dominioni punto & pasta Srl to Marmon International, a Berkshire group company headed by Warren buffet, an operation successfully completed in September 2016.

He has currently been contacted as advisor for an M&A operation of the most important Greek oil refinery.

Until the university period he was a competitive tennis player reaching Serie B, a sport that he continued to practice as a tennis teacher in the following years.
