Paul Rougas has over two decades of work experience, starting in 1991 as a Marketing Associate at Simon & Schuster Publishing. Paul then worked as a Sales Representative at Williams & Wilkens in 1992, followed by a role as a Regional Sales Manager at Cengage Learning from 1994 to 2000.

In 2000, Paul joined American Express and held various positions, including Director, Vice President, and Vice President of Merchant Client Management. In these roles, they managed global Corporate Card and Business Travel relationships for their top clients, leading a global client management team and collaborating with internal stakeholders to drive incremental program value and develop creative initiatives. Paul's tenure at American Express ended in 2013.

Following their time at American Express, Paul became the Director of Business Development at Learning Pool (formerly True Office Learning). At Learning Pool, they worked with organizations to connect e-learning to advanced behavioral data through an adaptive technology platform, empowering them to build a culture of integrity.

Paul Rougas completed their BA in English from the State University of New York at Oswego from 1986 to 1990. Later, from 1999 to 2002, they pursued an MBA with a focus on Marketing and International Business at the Fordham Gabelli School of Business. In 2011, they attended the Executive Leadership Program at Penn State University for a brief period of time.
