Jason Jenne has had a diverse work experience throughout their career. Jason is currently the Chief Financial Officer at TRUE Sports since 2018, where they are involved in all aspects of company strategy development and execution. Prior to this, they worked at Fred's Inc. as the Executive Vice President & CFO from 2016 to 2018, and as the Senior Vice President of Finance from 2016 to 2017.

Before joining Fred's Inc., Jason had a long tenure at True Temper Sports, starting in 1998. Jason held various roles in the company, including President & CEO from 2014 to 2016, Chief Financial Officer from 2005 to 2014, Chief Operating Officer from 2010 to 2013, Vice President of Finance from 2002 to 2005, and Corporate Controller from 1998 to 2002. During their time at True Temper Sports, they played a significant role in the company's growth and diversification into the hockey market.

Prior to True Temper Sports, Jason worked at Emerson, where they held several positions. Jason was the Division Controller at Emerson's Hurst Manufacturing Division in 1997 and the Plant Controller at the company's electric motor plant in 1997. Jason also served as the Manager of Financial Planning for Emerson's Specialty Motor Division from 1996 to 1997 and as a Senior Internal Auditor at the company's corporate headquarters from 1994 to 1996.

Jason's career began at Scheffel Boyle - Certified Public Accountants, where they worked as a Staff Auditor in 1993 and as an Accounting Intern from 1991 to 1992. During these roles, they gained experience in auditing, financial statement preparation, and general accounting.

Jason Jenne obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Finance from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, from 1989 to 1993. Jason later pursued Business Administration and Management in general at Washington University in St. Louis - Olin Business School from 1996 to 1997. In addition, they obtained their CPA certification from the Missouri State Board of Accountancy in 1995.
