Larry Carmack

Larry Carmack has over 20 years of experience in information technology and project management. Larry is currently the Director of Information Technology at True Value Company, where they oversee a portfolio of applications and leads a team of up to 40+ staff. Their responsibilities include developing technology strategies, reducing application complexity, and streamlining data domains. Prior to True Value Company, Larry worked at Walgreens as an Information Technology Consultant, where they led the standardization of project and delivery for Walgreens Healthcare Clinics and implemented the Epic EMR. Larry also worked at Dearborn Group as the Manager of the Project Management Office, leading strategic initiatives that doubled the organization's size and revenues. Before that, Larry served as an Information Technology Project Manager at Laidlaw Education Services, leading a team in transitioning maintenance shops to a cloud-based Vehicle Maintenance System. Larry also worked as a Senior Information Technology Business Analyst at OfficeMax during the acquisition by Boise Cascade, and as an Information Technology Product Manager at Ace Hardware Corporation, where they managed product lifecycles and led change management efforts. Larry Carmack obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business from Northern Illinois University in the years 1998 to 2000. Larry later pursued a Masters degree in Computer Science from DePaul University, which they completed from 2000 to 2004. Furthermore, in January 2009, they obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.
