Scott Tompkins

Scott Tompkins has a diverse work experience in the field of information security. Scott is currently serving as the Director of IT Security at True Value Company since March 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of Director of Information Security at Williams Lea for a span of over 10 years. In this role, they led regional information security officers across different regions and was responsible for ensuring compliance with ISO 27001 security standard. Before joining Williams Lea, Scott worked as an Independent Consultant, where they completed various projects for Childrens Memorial Hospital and Envestnet. Additionally, they served as the Senior Director of Information Security at CorSolutions, where they led the Information Security department and addressed critical issues related to security, compliance, and accreditation.

Scott Tompkins holds an MBA degree from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management, which they obtained from 1994 to 1996. Scott also has a BA degree from Northern Illinois University, completed in 1981. In addition to their degrees, they have obtained several certifications in the field of information security and privacy, including CISM certification from ISACA in 2010, CIPP/US certification from IAPP - International Association of Privacy Professionals in 2007, and CISA certification from ISACA in 1999.
